Reclaiming Friday the 13th: A Day of Empowerment

🔦Friday the 13th has been considered an unlucky day for generations, yet this idea is based more on myth than reality. Over time, Friday was portrayed as gloomy in religious and cultural tales, while in ancient traditions, it was linked to strong feminine energy and connection. The “perfect” number 12—was also broken by the number 13, which was viewed as disturbing. When combined, they served as a scapegoat for superstition and dread. But a reset is needed.

Taking it Back

What if Friday the 13th was a day to reclaim as a representation of fortitude, wisdom, and rebirth rather than something to be feared?

💬Who cares if it’s Friday the 13th? “It’s an unlucky day,” they say. We just never know what each day will be like. Choose to avoid negativity and steer clear of it.
