“What if the moments that made you cry also made you shine?” 😢😀On our April calendar, the 10th says , “Let yourself cry if you need to. It’s strength, not weakness.” There is a lot of good to say about letting out a good cry. Society has taught us, especially men, that crying is a sign of weakness. But really, it’s a sign of strength💪🏽 because we have control of our emotions and we decide to release them. Sometimes, there is just not a way to control those emotions. In turn, it will decrease our stress levels and give us a feeling of renewed energy. That could be exactly what is needed to make yourself feel like yourself again. It is important for mental health and clarity. Sometimes words are just not enough. If you feel like crying, just let it out freely. 🔦Your body will thank you for releasing the anxiety and stress it has built up.
💚Fun Fact: Stress hormones, like cortisol and adrenaline, are released when shedding those tears. This, in turn, will decrease stress. And a natural painkiller is also released called leucine enkephalin! So just let those tears flow!
